Service Hour Guidelines & Volunteer Opportunities
Service Hour Guidelines
Students can provide service in the community on a voluntary basis to public, nonprofit agencies, civic, charitable and governmental organizations or school campuses.
The Service Learning & Volunteer Service Program is divided into 3 tiers.
Tier I- 40 Hours Service Learning required to graduate with a Standard Diploma.

Tier II- 75 Hours Florida Medallion Scholars
100 Hours Florida Academic Scholars
Required to qualify for Florida Bright Futures Scholarships.

Tier III- 250 Hours required to earn a Silver Cord at graduation.
